Kate began her M&E industry career 25 years ago at IBE Magazine (International Broadcast Engineer) where she worked as Assistant Editor/Web Editor. She moved from journalism to PR in 2003 and launched Jump, a boutique communications agency, in 2008. From February 2022 - April 2024, she was the Publicist for Six Inches of Soil, an independent regenerative farming, documentary feature film, recently nominated for an RTS East Award 2024. Jump’s passionate about working in the most sustainable, socially responsible and transparent way. In March 2024, the company announced plans to align with a triple bottom line approach that commits to planet, people and profit. It’s taking ambitious steps to reach specified targets, which it will publish regularly. Jump supports the Better Business Act Coalition, a campaign to transform the way businesses are run by changing the law so that every company in the UK, whether big or small, takes ownership of its social and environmental impact. Kate is also the creator and author of Abundant Times a website and blog highlighting environmental projects around the UK.
